Gonna Get Some

This is one of a few songs I wrote because I was presented with a challenge by my friends Steve and Shelly. We wanted to record an album that featured Shelly but we didn’t have any female type songs. So all 3 of us tried to write songs from a female perspective. Hence the lyrics containing references to men. I wrote about 10 songs of which we decided to record only a few. Most were crap and these were the least crappy. And Shelly wouldn’t sing them so I had to. LOL You can hear me switching from saying “he” instead of “she” in places. It’s hard to sing lyrics from the perspective of another gender.
