This one is called “Batter Up!” because apparently subtlety was overrated this time. It’s a blues-rock track built on a driving groove, gritty guitars, horns, and just enough attitude to make your neighbor wonder if you’ve finally lost it or finally figured it out. The lyrics swing between satire and frustration, taking aim at fear, media noise, and the general circus of modern life… all delivered with a straight face that probably shouldn’t be trusted.

The video doubles down on the chaos, turning it into a surreal, symbolic baseball game where I somehow end up at bat against things like manipulation, misinformation, and whatever else the world is pitching this week. Spoiler: I swing anyway. It’s equal parts performance, metaphor, and “let’s see what the AI does with this,” which, unsurprisingly, gets weird in a good way…kinda.

So if you’re looking for something polished, quiet, and emotionally safe… this probably isn’t it. But if you like blues-rock with teeth, sarcasm baked in, and a video that treats reality like a loose suggestion, then step up to the plate. Batter up.

This is my nephew’s favorite song…so far. The original recording was wrote and recorded in about an hour and messed up the words quite a bit, but it served it’s purpose…I wouldn’t forget it.
