SONG: The Minstrel
I like the first one better than the second. But, I forgot to turn off the Sondo branding and my name. Oh well.
Stay till the end and you might want to sing along!
“The Minstrel” follows the story of a wandering musician drifting through forgotten towns and open roads, carrying nothing but his guitar and whatever ghosts refuse to leave him alone. He doesn’t really stay anywhere long enough to unpack anything, emotionally or otherwise, but somehow leaves each place a little different than he found it.
It’s a blues-rock, stadium-style journey built on grit, melody, and that familiar idea that music might be the only thing holding some people together…or at least delaying the breakdown until after the chorus.
As he moves through each town, something subtle happens: the empty spaces don’t stay empty, and the people who thought they were fine start remembering they’re not. Nothing magical, at least not officially, just music doing what it does when nobody’s arguing with it.
And yes, there are “na na na” moments. Because apparently even wandering emotional prophets need a singalong.
If you like blues rock with atmosphere, emotion, and a slightly haunted road-worn vibe, you’re in the right place.

Song Lyrics
The Minstrel rides
Chasing peace through the night
There’s a road that leads to forgiveness
He’s sure gonna find it alright
Till then he rides with the ghosts (beside him)
Till the morning brings the day light
Sunrise paints the dew
Something grand, wild and new
So he tips his hat and moves along
But the shadows pull like they always do
Like a broken prayer or a half-sung song
But every soul he touches, wants to sing along (hey!)
Every town’s got a door that’s been shut too long
Every heart’s got a place where the hurt’s gone wrong
But the good news is the Minstrel still sings his song
And everybody’s invited to sing along (come on!)
Na na na na… na na na na na (everybody!)
Na na na na… (hey!) na na na na na
He’s just passing through, and he changes the air
Leaves a little light hanging everywhere
Like a spark that keeps broken hearts alive
And he rides on, cause his music will survive
The Minstrel wanders, taking it all in
With miles behind him, his breath is the wind
That carries his music to lands far and wide
You’ll hear him coming and you’ll feel alive
It keeps him going, cause his music will survive
Every town’s got a door that’s been shut too long
Every heart’s got a place where the hurt’s gone wrong
But the good news is the Minstrel still sings his song
And everybody’s invited to sing along (everybody sing!)
Na na na na… na na na na na (everybody come on!)
