It’s nice to know
That you are with me
It’s nice to know
That you were there
And all the time you’re thinking of me
It’s nice to know that you still care
It’s nice to know when the chips are down
It’s nice to know…you’re always around
And now you know when you see me
Count on me…I’ll be around
It’s nice to know
That you are with me
It’s nice to know
You were there
And all the time you’re thinking of me
It’s nice to know that you still care
"Nice To Know" is a short, sweet song about having someone in your life who is always there when you need them most. Sometimes that's a best friend. Sometimes it's your soulmate. Either way... it's nice to know they're around when you're about to do something spectacularly dumb.
I actually wrote this song in about 10 minutes while taking the trash cans down our long driveway. Apparently inspiration strikes when you're wearing flip-flops and dragging garbage cans.
The vocals are my voice. Well... my voice if it actually hit every note I was aiming for.
The video is a fun Pixar-style adventure starring an animated version of me doing what I apparently do best. Fortunately, my wife is always there to save me from myself... whether I'm fumbling with the groceries, burning dinner, dropping everything I touch, or pretending that cleaning is someone else's problem.
If the song made you smile, I'd appreciate it if you'd like the video, leave a comment, and subscribe to you YouTube channel here.
